The Wait Might Be Worth It

Who knows, the way the economy is going and the snails pace of free agent signings recently, the Nats might get a deal or two done after all. Not that I completely buy into the bargain basement mentality, but I’d be much happier if we sign an Adam Dunn for $7 million per year than the higher numbers he had been seeking. There could be several players who fit into our plans now that the market has seemingly adjusted. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a big bat, and if the stars align, a quality starting pitcher as well.
